This is my second album of songs, recorded over several months at Utopia Studios in Hertfordshire, at Hear No Evil in Fulham and also at home. With the title Big Fire, the flavour is definitely acoustic but with some real electric additions. I've had help from some great musicians, especially Olly Blanchflower the wonderful double bass player with whom I've been playing live during the past twelve years.

Although this album was recorded in the 1990s, it has found its time and thanks to the folks at Siren Music is now available. The music seems to stand the test of time and the original collaboration between myself, Paul Sirett and Chris Baker, all former members of the band Bliss, has proved to be a creative combination which still endures. The songs are mostly mine with some help from Paul and Chris and, true to my writing style are stories and personal reflections wrapped in melody.
